About
Bringing vital research out of the footnotes and into public life.
The Citation makes peer-reviewed research more useful in public life by translating rigorous scholarship into clear, timely context for the real world. We are a human-curated research publication delivered twice per month built to connect peer-reviewed research to the questions shaping public life without sacrificing nuance, evidence, or complexity. Each Edition includes four current research Snapshots, one Classic, and one free Brief.
What is Authentic Intelligence?
We believe that rigorous scholarship shouldn't require a translation matrix to be understood. We call this Authentic Intelligence: human-written, source-grounded, scholar-reviewed research context. We engage research carefully, checking each Snapshot against original source material and translating findings with precision, context, and intellectual honesty. Where applicable, the Featured Scholar reviews the completed Snapshot for factual accuracy before publication. We maintain a clear distinction between what research found and editorial interpretation, ensuring our readers get context they can trust.
